2. Hosting and server log files

When you visit this site, our hosting provider GitHub processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operating and securing the website).

3. Local storage (game progress)

Your game progress, best times and cookie choice are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to us. You can delete them at any time via your browser settings or in the game.

4. Advertising with Google AdSense

With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) we use Google AdSense, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Cookies may be set and data such as your IP address and usage behaviour may be processed and transferred to Google servers in third countries (including the USA). Without your consent, AdSense is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Optional account and cloud save (Google Firebase, Google sign-in)

You can optionally sign in with Google to store your game progress in the cloud. The required scripts are only loaded after you choose to sign in (or if you were already signed in). We use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processed data: a user ID, your name and email address as provided by Google, and your game progress. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the cloud save you requested). Data may be transferred to third countries (including the USA). You can sign out at any time and delete your cloud data and account with "Delete cloud data".

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (in Lower Saxony: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen).
